This specimen of Dioptase, Calcite and Duftite on matrix is from an Old Collection which was collected between the 1980's to early 2000's.
- Vitreous, small, green trigonal Dioptase crystals have developed amongst small Calcite crystals on the surface.
- Vibrant green Dioptase crystals can be seen on the base of the specimen too.
- Colourless, trigonal Calcite crystals have developed all over the matrix.
- Opaque, light green Duftite has developed on the Calcite crystals.
- Opaque, earthy green Mottramite can be seen on the perimeter of the matrix, it appears that the Dioptase and Calcite developed on the Mottramite.
- Dioptase, Calcite, Duftite and Mottramite crystals appear to have developed on a calcite rich matrix.
- Scattered chips and contact damage present.
