Ferruginous Quartz is a variety of quartz that contains inclusions of iron minerals, primarily hematite or goethite. These inclusions impart a reddish-brown to yellowish color to the quartz crystals
Geological terminology:
- Vitreous, prismatic, intergrown, transparent, colorless Quartz crystals.
- Lovely prismatic terminations of the crystal bodies.
- Deep Red Hematite has developed on the surface of the Quartz.
- Quartz drusy can be seen on the Quartz surface.
- Chips to several of the terminations and apices.
