The Geological Approach: 
  • Several polished, opaque, green Malachite slices have been glued together to create this box.
  • The lid of this box has stunning rhythmic banding/ 'eyes' that range frim light green to a deep forest green in color.
  • The sides of the Malachite box range from swirl-like Malachite to well stacked rhythmically banded Malachite slices. 
  • The base of the box has been made up of several smaller pieces of Malachite.
  • Minor fillings can be seen on the surface of the Malachite slices.
