A unique, semi-transparent and lustrous Lavender Amethyst Cactus Quartz. This specific piece is usually referred as 'Cactus Quartz' because of its shape and features 2 generations of vitreous and prismatic crystals, with smaller crystals wrapping the original, larger crystals.

Geological Terminology:
  • A vitreous semi-transparent Spirit Quartz (Cactus Quartz) single.
  • Very subtle Amethyst zoning to the crystal terminations.
  • Minor Iron staining to the Original Quartz growth creating this yellow-brown tinge to the subtle Amethyst Quartz secondary Growth.
  • Damage to the side of the Specimen exposing the Original Quartz growth.
