A small but beautiful specimen of White Cactus Quartz featuring 2 generations of crystals:1 main crystal and a secondary growth of smaller, vitreous and prismatic crystal wrapping the main crystal.
This piece also has some remnants of other crystals which are no longer present.

Geological Terminology:
  • A semi-translucent, vitreous and beautiful White Cactus Quartz from South Africa.
  • Consists of 2 generations of crystals : 1 main visible crystal and secondary smaller prismatic crystals growing on the main crystal.
  • The colors vary from white to  slightly reddish brown.
  • Small speck of Iron staining is visible on the piece.
  • The apex of the main crystal also has un-noticeable damage to it.
