This is a unique, lustrous and a little sizey specimen of Amethyst Cactus Quartz Cluster on a fine matrix. It is often referred to as 'Cactus' Amethyst because of its cactus-like formation. This particular piece features 2 generations of vitreous and prismatic crystals, with smaller crystals wrapping the original, larger crystals.
