Here is an interesting, intergrown, and enthralling beaut from Zimbabwe.
Subtle but pretty purple Amethyst zoning in the terminations of the Quartz crystals.
Some minor black hematite can be seen present on the specimen.
I personally love how this beauty has intergrown in many different directions creating quite a masterpiece.

The Geological Lingo:
- A lovely subtle Amethyst Quartz Crystal.
- Highly lustrous, translucent to sub-opaque, prismatic Quartz crystals.
- Lovely lilac purple zoning to the Crystal terminations.
- Smaller Quartz crystals have intergrown onto the main Crystal body.
- Quartz Crystals are double terminated.
- Milky white inclusions in the body of the Crystals.
- Dark grey to black Hematite inclusions can be seen in the body of some Crystals.
- Growth Patterning on the crystal body.
- Smaller Quartz have developed at the back of the specimen.
