Geological terminology:
  • A sensational Amethyst Spirit Quartz cluster.
  • Vitreous, densely intergrown, prismatic Quartz.
  • Vivid amethyst hue can be seen through out the cluster with beautiful saturated zoning in the crystal terminations.
  • Secondary Quartz growth has created a small cave-like overhang mid cluster.
  • Iron-staining on the original crystal can be seen through the translucent secondary Quartz growth.
  • Contact damage mainly to the perimeter of the cluster
