The Geological Approach:
- Smooth, polished Chrysocolla and Malachite Egg.
- Opaque, Cerulean Blue of the Chrysocolla.
- Deep Blue vein-like patterning can be seen on the egg surface.
- Opaque, earthy-green Malachite can be seen with the Chrysocolla and deeper Blue mineral.
- Opaque, rusty-brown to red toned Matrix included near the base of the egg.
- In most cases, damage will be present from where the specimen was removed from its parent material.
- Sandy residue may be present.
- Minor scattered chips to the crystal edges and faces may be present.
- Any polished material will have minor surface scratches, natural fractures, and vugs.
