This is an interesting specimen of semi-translucent and slightly yellow bladed Baryte on sub-opaque and vitreous Quartz. This particular piece also has small black trigonal Hematite formations all over the Baryte and some small clear Fluorite formations.

Geological Terminology:
  • Amazing specimen of slightly yellowish, semi-translucent and intergrown bladed Baryte on sub-opaque and vitreous Quartz which are seemingly remnants of a cluster from Morroco.
  • Small, dark trigonal Hematite crystals can be seen all over the blades of Baryte.
  • Clear, translucent and small cubic Fluorite formations can be seen on the side of the piece.
  • The Fluorite is UV reactive and glow soft purple.
  • Growth imprints can be seen on the Quartz.
