The Geological Lingo:
- A silky, dense, opaque specimen of saturated dark green Malachite.
- Densely intergrown, crystallized radial sprays of dark green Malachite can be seen on the perimeter and at the base of the specimen.
- Malachite has developed on a thin beige matrix.
- The surface of the Malachite specimen has a thin flake-like appearance.
- Ex. Collection piece purchased circa 1980's to early 2000's

- In most cases, damage will be present from where the specimen was removed from its parent material.
- Sandy residue may be present.
- Minor scattered chips to the crystal edges and faces may be present.
