This specimen of Selenite is from an Old Collection which was collected between the 1980's to early 2000's.

 

  • Variety of Gypsum.
  • Pearly, transparent, colourless, monoclinic Selenite crystals.
  • Smaller Selenite crystals can be seen intergrown at the base of the main crystal.
  • Sandy residue inclusions can be seen in the crystal body.
  • Scattered chips and contact damage present.
