An unassuming cluster of assorted crystals! 
At first glance it looks like a messy Messina Quartz cluster but upon closer inspection it can be seen that there are Dolomite and Calcite crystals, and quite a bit of Kaolinite.

  • Vitreous, prismatic, milky to white Quartz crystals,
  • The Quartz crystals appear to be self healed on the side of the cluster.
  • Matte, opaque, salmon-pink Kaolinite has developed on the Quartz.
  • Pearly, opaque, cream, trigonal Dolomite crystals have intergrown with the Quartz and Kaolinite.
  • Pearly, sub-opaque, trigonal Calcite crystals can be seen to the front of the specimen.
  • Matte, opaque, dark grey iron-rich mineral can be seen intergrown with the Dolomite, Calcite and Kaolinite.
