This fascinating specimen from Morocco is really brought into the spotlight by the bladed Baryte formations, the metallic grey Galena, and the vitreous Cerussite that is on it.



Geological Terminology:
  • Metallic silvery grey Galena that developed on a thin matrix.
  •  Bladed white Baryte formations formed on the Galena.
  • Vitreous, translucent, and orthorhombic Cerussite crystals have grown on top of the Galena.
  • The Cerussite is UV reactive and glows a wonderful bright neon yellow.
