A peculiar specimen on Brucite on a manganese rich matrix. 
These rounded groupings of soft yellow Brucite have created a specimen that is reminiscent of rolling hills.

The Geological Approach: 
  • Sub-vitreous, opaque, reniform groupings of soft yellow to yellow-green Brucite.
  • Small individual ball-like groupings of Brucite can be seen at the base of the  Brucite growth,
  • Matte, brown to red sand can be seen on the surface of the specimen.
  • Specimen fluoresces a slightly neon yellow under Long wave UV.
  • Contact damage to the perimeter of the specimen.

  • In most cases, damage will be present from where the specimen was removed from it's parent material.
  • Sandy residue may be present.
  • Minor scattered chips to the crystal edges and faces may be present.
